Does C programming knowledge required for learning C# programming or one can directly Learn C#

Does C knowledge required for learning C#?
One can directly learn C# but it would be more difficult because C is the basis of C#.
Reply:yeah. basically even a simpler language like vb is required in learning other languages.
Reply:i kno that C programming language is sorta required for learning C++, but u can how ever learn it without C it would just take longer and be slightly harder
Reply:Yes, you had to know the basic C at least to learn C#, beacuuse C# is almost like C.
Reply:Yeah You need to know C and you need to be sharp as well!!!
Reply:yes you need knowledge of C for learning C#
Reply:it'd does not require to learn especially c for learning c# as C# has all the concepts of C.

But my suggestion if you get familiar to C it will be good for you as it will help you do programming more easily.
Reply:Yes. C is the father of C# and C++
Reply:No, its not imperative that you should learn C before trying C++. But if you know C then it helps a little as it clears the basic. But if you want to start with C++ straight away then I would recommend that you do it, as some of the things are no longer used in C++ and they might confuse you.
Reply:No. C is not a requiremet of learning C# but if you are already comfortable with C then it will be much easier to learn C# than learning C# directly.
Reply:C# has nothing to do with C language. They are totally different.

Ofcourse prior C programming knowledge may help you in learning C# language.
Reply:No. But if you know "C" it is adavanteous as you will learn faster.
